Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Reckon, a service operated by Memriq Holdings, Inc. ("Memriq", "we"). By using Reckon you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your information.

What Reckon is, and what it is not

Reckon reads the accounts you connect or the files you upload, sorts and labels the transactions, and gives them back to you as files. It does not give financial, tax, investment or legal advice, it does not recommend what to do with your money, and it cannot move, pay or transfer money. Labels are suggestions to help you review your own records; check anything you rely on, particularly for taxes.

Who can use it

Reckon is in an invitation-only early access period. You need a Memriq account and an invitation that has been accepted for Reckon. Use Reckon only for your own household's accounts, or accounts you are authorised to view.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us at hi@memriq.ai if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Connecting a bank

Bank connections go through Plaid, and connecting one means you also agree to Plaid's terms. You authorise Reckon to read the transactions of the accounts you choose. Bank connections may not be open to every account during early access, and a bank can stop sharing at any time; you can disconnect whenever you like.

Early access

Reckon is new. Features may change, pause or be removed, and it may be unavailable at times. It is provided as it is, without promises that it will be error-free or that every transaction will be read or labelled correctly.

Price

Reckon costs nothing during early access, and we take no payments for it. If that changes, we will tell you before you are asked to pay, and you will not be charged without agreeing.

Fair use

Do not use Reckon to access accounts that are not yours to view, to break the law, to interfere with the service, or to copy or resell it. We may suspend an account that does.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Memriq is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make using Reckon's labels or files. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility the law does not let us limit.

Ending

You can stop using Reckon at any time and ask us to delete your data, as the Privacy Policy describes. We may end early access, or your access, with notice where we can give it.
